1920-Evil Returns movie review

Assalamualaikum, everybody. hello there.
today, i would like to comment and give my feedback on a Hindi movie i just watched, 1920-Evil Returns.
the movie is written by Vikram Bhatt, and as a Bollywood fan you'd know by now that Vikram only makes movies with thriller-horror genre. *at least that's what i think* some of his best projects include Raaz, Inteha, Jurm and Aetbaar. this movie 1920-Evil Returns is one of his most recent work. the movie came out last year (2012), but i only got to watch it now. out of the cast list, there's only one person i know by heart. Aftab Shivdasani. he's the lead actor a.k.a. the hero! *wohoo* the movie setting was somewhere back in the olden and classic days, obviously in the 1920s. in the movie, people travelled with a carriage and horses, no motor-vehicles. and all the costumes and clothes the cast members wore throughout the movie was super cute and spot on! what i mean is that whatever they put on reflects the era the movie was in-the 20s. the movie was shot in German. *i knew this from Aftab himself...via Twitter* so, you can expect the scenery to be full of flowers, you can hear the sound of wind during the day and at night, it is dark and creepy.

the movie is about Jaidev Verma, a poet who loss the life of the girl he loves though he never met her. they fell in love while sharing each others words of love through poetry, by writing to one another. neither of them have ever met. so one day, after two years the love of his life passed away, he made a decision to clear up his mind and write some poem. that's when he spotted a body lying at the shore. it was a girl, and she was unconscious. he brought her home and she couldn't remember anything after she gained her consciousness.
there is definitely a ghost, or shall i say evil spirits in the movie. sometimes, Vikram Bhatt's movies are thriller based that at the end of the day, there's no ghost, just lots of thrills. so, don't worry much about not seeing the evil spirit, it will come, all you gotta do is open up wide and be very very sensitive to every character in the movie. small or big, they all play a part in the movie.
Aftab worked out for a whole year
before signing this movie
how i feel after watching the movie?
absolutely blown away by everything! but there are also some parts in the movie that made me want to laugh. the simplest thing like running and screaming made me laugh. the expression just didn't get to the level it should i guess. but only certain parts. hehee..
one of the funniest ever is the part where Aftab will have to forcefully break open the door because the lead actress refused to open the door. with the buff body he has, it was funny how he used so little force to break open the door, it was almost unreal. the other thing is the X-ray. as far as i know, X-ray beam only pass through a medium which is present. could X-ray display evil spirits?
watch the movie and tell me what you think alright?
a scene from Apnaa Mujhe Tu Lagaa
a Hindi movie is never complete without it's songs! shall we see what i personally think of the songs? hehee...
there are altogether four songs in the movie. and my personal favourites are Khud Ko Tere and Apnaa Mujhe Tu Lagaa. the singer for the 2nd song is Sonu Nigam and his sweet and soft voice blew me away. the song is already a romantic-based song, so his voice blended so perfectly with the song, i love it so much! *listening to the song as i'm typing now*
i hope you guys would enjoy the movie as much as i have. this is my first Hindi horror movie after so long and i'm impressed. i give the movie a 4-4.5 stars out of 5 stars!
*claps*
