never give up

i was stunned by a news a dear friend told me, and me alone. no idea why he did that. *yup, it's a HE* he told me while smiling, 'i think i'm gonna quit' and i was like, *still smiling* 'Quit what?' and the conversation goes on.
quitting is never an option for me. though i've been let down numerous times in life, i never quit living, did i? same goes to you. you might have faced lots and lots of problems in life, and you feel like dying, but did you EVER die? nope, you didn't. you just continue with life, leaving out all the UN-important things *which you hate* aside or just forget about it, even for a split second, right?
so why is it when it comes to dealing problems related to OTHER THINGS, we tend to quit? for instance, in making a relationship WORK, people quit, instead of WORKING IT OUT? *i don't have the answer actually, coz i've never been in that situation, obviously* but think about it again, do you feel i'm making sense here? *if not, feel like banging head on the wall*
the thing is, He is watching and He understands what and how do we feel about something, He knows best. there's a reason for everything that has happened, and yet to happen. we need to have faith in Him. plus, i've read somewhere that He tests us because He loves us. *why would He test us if He loves us? it doesn't make sense, does it?* guess what? He loves giving us the chance to reveal how we feel inside, just for Him to know. He wants us to talk to Him, the way we do to our partners, our lovers. *remember, He's the ULTIMATE lover, and He deserves more than what we can give to our lovers* He loves listening to us, and that's when He gives us 'presents' to make our day. it could be as little as reading something in the Quran, that makes us feel better, makes us smile as we read it, or as big as an accomplishment or an achievement. no matter what, the prize is still there for us.

moral of the story, don't just look at one aspect of life and then think about it and then feel down about it, and decide you'd quit. remember, we need to have FAITH in Him. plus, we need to work for the 'presents'. i hope i made my pint clear.
