more singing please?

you know what songs am i hearing on radio nowadays? Ke$ha's Die Young and Rihanna's Diamonds.
Rihanna
as i listen to Rihanna, i got a little frustrated, because she's doing less and less of a singing job like she used to. i can't even remember her last song that really showed her vocals in singing. oh, yeah. got it. California King Bed was her last song which i really enjoy, because it really reflected on her abilities in singing, reminding me of why she's a singer in the first place. but lately, her songs like Birthday Cake, S&M and You Da One are not much of a singing in my opinion. i confess her songs are nice to hear, but she's not showing her vocal ability. what a shame. because she can really sing. songs like Russian Roulette and Te Amo were among the greatest hits as a singer.
and then we have Taylor Swift, who came pretty strong with her Teardrops on My Guitar. she was pretty impressive back then. but now, after a few years, she's changing paths, switching to a rather fun, dance genre. We Are Never Getting Back Together wasn't my favourite track from her. and she's come up with a new song, I Knew Yo Were Trouble was a fun track to dance to, but it showed very very little of her vocal abilities. really sad.

P/S: they are both not my favourites anymore...
