Malay movies today

to be honest, i'm very disappointed with our Malaysian move industry. seems like from drama to drama, from movie to movie, there's always an addition of WILD scenes than the one before. question is "why?"
it started with Rempit, the movie which revealed the life of a Mat Rempit. i expected something like passion in motorbikes which led them to racing at night illegally, and how they got caught or meet in an accident and how life goes on from there. coz that's what we should know, that's what the movie should be all about-advising kids & teens not to try to merempit, because it's dangerous and deadly. instead of focusing on those elements stated above, the director focussed more on how teens live life. wild life party, bringing girls over to the house and spending the night together, own girlfriend at stake if the boyfriend loses and more...
lemme ask you a question. who are the actors and actresses? they are all Muslims. and they are wearing only towels in some scenes, and the guys go shirtless when he's with the girl, girls wearing short miniskirts with high heels, dyed hair...i mean, ain't part of what you're doing is a sin? and instead of giving advice to teens not to try them, you're actually encouraging them to try it because it's FUN.
that's part of the reason why social problems in Malaysia has grown rapidly since the past few years.

i thought that would be the end, but seems like things are getting worse now. actresses are more daring nowadays, such that they are willing to act in scenes whereby they will be in bed with an actor. they do stuff which are inappropriate. i honestly think that without those scenes, the movie will still be nice, but i have no idea what are in directors minds now. it's creepy. if movies and dramas are so wild at this era, wonder what would it be like in 10 years time? kids at the age of 8 already know what sex is done. can you believe it? i'm so freaking scared, thinking of the future and how am i going to bring up my kids without any bad influence. sometimes, i think Hollywood movies are way better, in sense that they don't go beyond what they should do, when its a PG rated movie. at most they do is kissing. the clothes they wear are not much revealing, because they totally believe that too revealing clothes doesn't make you sexy, it makes you s****y.

so please people. change your mindsets. movies with wild scenes will not get you anywhere. people will only look down on you for acting in those scenes. and let's not support movies or dramas like this. they don't represent us as Malaysians.
