preggy mommies

AISH
i'm not sure if you people are aware of it, but it seems like the whole Aishwarya post baby weight thingy-whingy has been a buzz until now. i mean, her daughter is already 4 months old, and yet the media can't seem to leave her alone. i'm not a fan of Ash just so you know. i watch her movies, but i'm not into her that much. i'm more into Bips and Priyanka. this lady was best known as the Miss World 2000, and she's known as one of the most beautiful woman on planet Earth. she's pretty...and she still is. i don't really care about her post-pregnancy issue. i totally respect her. it's up to her to lose the weight whenever she feels ready to.
the sad thing is that people, media and even her fans are comparing her to some Hollywood stars who could lose their extra pregnancy weight in weeks, some pulled it off within days. Victoria Beckham, the aneroxic mama, lost her post pregnancy weight within days. she was seen leaving her house after just giving birth to her son in like 3 days? can you imagine that? isn't that a little too much?
definitely Posh doesn't eat anything at all, maybe she even vomited some of her meals, just so that she's looking HOT again. hmm...weird mom. whatever...
next is Heidi Klum, who has been mom for how many times again? i lost count. i'm sorry if it sounded offensive, but whenever i watch a new season of Project Runway, she's pregnant. maybe in one season she isn't but in the next season, she's pregnant. yet, she rocks the runway in her cute dresses, heels and sarcasm. haha...love her.
but one thing i love about Heidi is the fact that she brings all of her kids out at once, and she seem to be able to handle them, unlike Angie, who needs some assistant in handling her kids. *opps*
Heidi is a Victoria Secret model and during one of her pregnancy, she gave birth one week before one of the largest Victoria Secret shows, and she made her entrance in beautiful, sparkling lingerie, singing with her then called husband, Seal. so sweet. but how could she manage to lose her preggy weight in a week? she confessed to Oprah that she didn't touch any food during the whole week, so that she can rock the runway. ain't that a little drastic?
but at least she confessed, right? hahaa...
i've been doing some reading & thinking and this is what i got...
research done by experts shown that preggy mummies are not advised to lose their post-pregnancy weight in a drastic way, coz then it will effect badly on themselves & their kids as well. logically thinking, mums who lose weight too drastically will not be able to breastfeed, because they have not enough nutrients to produce milk, thus their kids are malnourished at such young age. one more thing is that the mum will develop some diseases in the future. *not sure bout this though*
most of American celebrities struggle to lose weight after pregnancy because they want to be there for their infant, yet take care of their own health & work. maybe this is what Ash had been thinking lately. in order for her to get back her pre-pregnancy body, she'll need to hit the gym doing strenous exercise for at least 5-7 hours daily. imagine how much of mother-daughter moments will this new mummy be losing?
maybe you're thinking of this, 'she can spend time with her kid once she gets back from the gym'
can you imagine being in the gym for 7 hours, lifting weights, crunching, marching, sit-ups, push-ups, jumping jacks, boxing...*too many Biggest Losers* it's tiring. you wouldn't even have the time to greet your family members, that's how exhausted you'd feel. i think she knew this would happen, so she took the trouble to hire a personal trainer who would ensure she's burning fat, little by little, coz maybe she's still breastfeeding the baby. a breastfeeding mummy need to be eating lots of healthy food, cannot be stuck to a strict diet, it won't be sufficient.
Fat And Ugly Aishwarya Raiso, that's pretty much it. i know she has added a lot of weight that we couldn't accept her. but she's happy, taking her time being a mum. she wants what's best for her baby. maybe we need to support her, instead of causing her so much trouble. plus, looking at her way reacting to the media, she seems to ignore what the media wants to say about her. way to go, Ash. *she looks pretty in this photo, glowing with happiness*
let's just support her way to being a great mummy, okay? and let's hope things would settle down quickly for her and that she could hit the gym some time and lose some more weight. and maybe she's appear on or screens, just like before. but for her to return to her size 2 body, would take some time. i've seen models take up to 2 years until their get back their pre-pregnancy body. why can't we give her more time? maybe that's all she needs...
don't they look great together?
